Marko Stijelja

Mr. Marko Stijelja, 76, of Clemmons, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 at his home. He was born July 18, 1941 in Yugoslavia. Mr. Stijelja retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company Research and Development. He was a good man; devoted husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Stijelja was preceded in death by his parents, Vika and Nikola Stijelja; two brothers; in laws, Clayton and Darlene Holcomb. Surviving are his wife, Judy Holcomb Stijelja; a daughter, Melissa Green (Brent); a son, Mark Stijelja and his grandchildren, Emily Green and Rachel Green. Also surviving are his extended family, Pam Simpson (Wayne), Wanda Duncan (Jerry), Ricky Holcomb, Brent Holcomb (Michelle) and two sisters and a brother in Yugolslavia. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 11:30-12:30 p.m. Saturday at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel.
