Martha I. Costner

Miss Martha I. Costner, 58, of Jonesboro, GA, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 25, 2016. She was born on June 15, 1958, in Alexandria, LA to the late Howard F. Costner and A. Gaynell Costner. She worked for the city of Atlanta for a number of years. She is survived by her sister, Janet Costner Hicks of Fredericksburg, VA and her brother, John Daniel Costner and wife, Shelva of Griffin, GA. She is also survived by her niece, Jenny Jacobs and husband, Shawn and four nephews, Jimmy Hinesley, Jason Hinesley and wife, Shannon, Jeffrey Hinesley and wife, Feather and Howie Costner; great-nieces, Ashley, Amber, and Holly; and great-nephews, Matt, Josh, Auston, and Junior. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 29, 2016, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
