Martha Jane Norman

Martha Jane Norman, 65, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 9, 2025. She was born on June 18, 1959, in Spartanburg, SC to the late Myles and Brenda Ezell Thorne. Jane was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother and was very proud of her children. She loved going to the beach and mountains and enjoyed fishing. Jane had a contagious laugh and enjoyed listening to music and dancing. Jane found joy in spending time with friends and had many who loved her. Preceding her in death was a brother, Terry Thorne. Surviving are her husband of 40 years, David Norman; daughter, Sarah Robertson Dralle (Greg); son, Joshua David Norman (Stella May); two grandchildren, Anna and Parker; also surviving are her brother, Myles C. Thorne (Jessie) and special friends, Becky and Buddy Estep. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Sharon United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Albert officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
