Martha Juanita Lunsford Peoples

Mrs. Martha Juanita Lunsford Peoples, 90, of Winston-Salem, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016. She was born in Forsyth County on November 29, 1925 to Walter Ray and Martha Caudle Lunsford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion ""Bud"" Peoples and by a daughter, Mary Ellen Welch. Surviving are her children, Marsha Glasgow and husband Dale, David Peoples and wife Pamela, Kathy Stamper and husband Tim, and Luke Peoples, seven grandchildren, Mike Welch and wife Sujan, Jeff Welch, Chris Glasgow and wife Stephanie, Andy Stamper and wife Jeanette, Sandy Glasgow, Penny Peoples, and Joseph Peoples, three great-grandchildren, Aloura Vick and husband Josh, Zachary Welch, and Emily Glasgow, two sisters, Olivia Shores and Frances Danner, and numerous nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor R. Stephen Gilreath and Tim Stamper officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday, October 17, 2016 from 7:00 -9:00 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek.
