Marty William Douglas

Mr. Marty William Douglas 61, also known to his friends as being ""Full Throttle"" of Pfafftown passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Marty fought a long and courageous battle up to the end. He was born February 8, 1956, in Surry County to William Frank and Mary Parks Douglas. Marty was a 1975 graduate of West Forsyth High School. He was employed by WLA, Inc. in Mt. Airy. Marty had a love of camping, and a passion for riding his Harley Davidson, also driving an 18 wheeler across country seeing this beautiful land of the United States. Marty is survived by his parents; a sister, Tammy Wagoner and husband Garland, and a niece Fallon Wagoner; special friend, Teresa Davis Gibson and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A visitation to celebrate Marty's life will be Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kate B.
