Marvis Magdeline Whitworth

Ms. Marvis Magdeline Whitworth, 85, went home on Friday, November 27, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and 1 sister. Ms. Whitworth is survived by her son; David Wayne Whitworth and wife Michele, granddaughters; Heidi, Leanna, Nikki and Brittany, her grandson; David Wayne Whitworth II and 2 great-grandchildren; Shawn and Cassy. She is also survived by her sister; Edith and 3 sisters-in-laws; Jeannine, Mary and Teresa. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Forsyth Memorial Park in Winston-Salem with Pastor David Wood officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 Tuesday evening at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Crestwood Baptist Church. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Lisa and Melissa from Hospice for all they did.
