Mary Ann Little

Mary Ann Little, 88, of Winston-Salem, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 29, 2025, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Born on December 29, 1936, in Wilkes County, Mary was the daughter of the late Ollie Durham and Martin Price Green. She retired from AT&T after 34 years of dedicated service. A devoted and long-standing member of Trinity Moravian Church, Mary was always willing to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed. Mary enjoyed bowling and participated in a bowling league for a time. She also gave generously of her time by volunteering with the American Red Cross and Meals on Wheels.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Ray Little; her brother, Bobby Green; brother-in-law, Clyde Laster; and sister-in-law, Nancy Green. 

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Joe Little (Mimi) of Chattanooga, TN, and Janet Gunhus (Bob) of Colorado; her grandchildren, Somer, Jonathan, and Isaac Little, Molly Gunhus, and Madison Howell (Jayden); her sisters, Gladys Laster and Wilma Blackburn (Jesse); and her brother, Jack Green.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Trinity Moravian Church. Interment will follow in Salem Moravian Graveyard. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 AM in the church parlor.
