Mary Brogdon

Mrs. Mary Leola Compton Brogdon, 61, of Lewisville passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Brogdon was born in Granville County, North Carolina to the late Leo Compton and Mary Lunsford Compton on October 31, 1957. Mary was a longtime member of Lewisville United Methodist Church, where she served in the choir for 35 years. Mary enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with family. Her pride and joy were her five grandchildren of whom she loved with all her heart. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Theresa Compton. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Brogdon; son, John Brogdon and wife Brooke; daughter, Laura Primavera and husband Scott; son, Jared Brogdon; grandchildren, Avery and Della Brogdon, Isabelle, Leo and Luna Primavera; brother, Lewis Compton; sister, Hollie Compton. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Lewisville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Ivan Peden officiating. Committal will follow in the church cemetery.
