Mary Wismer Crompton

Mrs. Mary Leora ""Lee"" Crompton, 85 of Winston-Salem passed away Wednesday, October 05, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, NC. She was born in Canada on November 8, 1930 to Philip Henry and Edna Doreen Kennedy Wismer. Mrs. Crompton was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Harvey Crompton; a daughter, Linda Marie Carley; sisters, Helen Rushing and Dorothy Paterson and a brother Philip Wismer. Surviving are her sister Patricia Maddocks and husband Jack, two daughters, Jennifer Balascio and husband Daniel and Carol Ann Quinn and husband Peter; two sons, Walter Crompton, Jr. and wife Nancy and Lawrence Crompton and wife Doris; twelve grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held October 22, 2016 in Vineland, Ontario Canada. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
