Mary Rose Pennell Ellis

Mary Rose Pennell Ellis, 84, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023. She was born on May 8, 1939, in Forsyth County to the late Mack Lee Pennell and Clara Orrell Pennell. Mary spent most of her life as a homemaker, and enjoyed being surrounded by those she loved the most. Her family was always her top priority; she loved her husband, children, and grandchildren so dearly. You could often find her outdoors in her vegetable garden and tending to her yard. She will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Dewey William Ellis as well as several brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Richard Ellis; daughter, Roxanne Vuksic (Viktor); grandchildren Tori, Tony, Peyton, and Tony; great-grandchildren Annica and Anthony; and many special extended family members, friends, and neighbors.
