Mary Embler

WINSTON SALEM - Mary Frances Trull Embler, 82, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at her home. Mary was born on November 15, 1935 in Buncombe County to Grover Cleveland and Ollie Mae King Trull. She was a member of Mission Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her son, Robert Brian Embler; and three brothers. Surviving are her husband of 64 years, James Embler; two sons, Chris Allen Embler and Michael Embler; one daughter, Martie Oxendine; two grandchildren, Andrea Lashmit and Shashina Rose Oxendine; four great grandchildren, Brian Knowles, Brianna Knowles, Elijah Lashmit, and Layla Rose Oxendine; one brother, G.C. Trull and one sister, Hilda Crenshaw. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Oaklawn Memorial Park with Rev. David Keaton officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.
