Mary Faircloth

Ms. Mary Alice “Cricket” Faircloth, 69, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Mountain Valley Hospice in Yadkinville. Cricket was born October 22, 1952, in Forsyth County to the late Wesley Eugene Faircloth and Martha Mozelle Ragsdale Faircloth. She was employed at Harris Teeter for 30 years. Cricket was a member of Charity Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling to the beach, camping, and watching NASCAR races. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Jon Michael Faircloth and brother, Arlen Faircloth, Sr. She is survived by her brother, Ray Faircloth (Doris); sister, Sherry Wiles (Vonce); three nieces, Dee Faircloth, Carmen Miller (Seth), and Sandy Bowman; three nephews, Daniel Faircloth, Ragan Wiles, and Arlen Faircloth, Jr.; her like adopted daughter, Samantha Boone; special friends, Peggy Martin, Lee Kiger, Sandra Puckett, and Diane Smith; and several cousins. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00AM Monday, August 22,2022 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Sunday, August 21,2022 at the funeral home.
