Mary Susan "Sue" Farrington

WINSTON-SALEM-Mrs. Mary Susan ""Sue"" Rogan Farrington, 72, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born on March 23, 1942 in Kingston, PA. Sue was a graduate of R.J. Reynolds High School in 1960. Her career consisted of working as a dental assistant for 18 years and also working with her husband at N.S. Farrington & Co. for 23 years. Sue always put her family first. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Rogan and a brother, Patrick Rogan. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Kenneth Farrington; four children, John Michael Lilly, Mary Elizabeth Kistler, Anne Barron, and Joseph Farrington; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; five sisters, Alice Parault (Ronnie), Margaret Coniglione, Catherine Johnson (Tom), Claire Dees (Gary), and Elizabeth Rogan; one brother, Robert Rogan (Melanie). A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Hardy officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Forsyth County, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
