Mary Lou Clinard Flynt

KERNERSVILLE - Mary Lou Clinard Flynt, 86, went home to be with her beloved husband, Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born November 20, 1927 in Forsyth Co. to the late Joseph Marion and Mary Parish Clinard. Mary Lou was a member of Kernersville Moravian Church, and a 1946 graduate of Hanes High School. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Flynt, Jr.; grandson, Zachary Swain; three brothers and two sisters. Surviving are her daughter, Melissa Swain and husband, Michael of Kernersville; son, Larry Flynt and wife, Patsy of Kernersville; six grandchildren, Holli Flynt, Jeremy Flynt (Kristi), Melanie Nance (Matt), Jason Swain (Erin), Douglas Swain, and Stephanie Swain; three great-grandchildren, Helen Rowland, Carter Nance and Addison Nance; one brother, Larry Clinard; one sister, Dorothy Hamilton; and special friends, Curtis Marley and Teri Pierce. A Funeral Service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Kernersville Moravian Church Historical Chapel with Rev. Doug Rights and Pastor Ray Mims officiating. Burial will follow in the church graveyard. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2013 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.
