Mrs. Mary Frances Fansler Parrish, 84, of Lewisville, NC, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home surrounded by her family.
Mary was born on March 20, 1942, in Forsyth County, North Carolina, to the late Oscar Ray Fansler and Frances Virginia Richardson Fansler. She was a devoted member of Crestview Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. Mary also dedicated more than 30 years of her career to Salemtowne Retirement Community, where she faithfully served as a secretary.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, David Hillary Parrish; her daughters, Brenda Sue Hutchins, Donna Hutchins Sparks, and Kathy Hutchins Tullock; and her son, Danny Lee Hutchins.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Sharon Franklin; her son, Gary Hutchins (Deborah Anderson); her granddaughters, Kimberly Goins (Michael Mayberry), Brandy Goins (JP Grimes), and Amanda Goins; her grandsons, Jacob Franklin (Jojo Franklin), Scotty Hutchins, Daniel Haulsey, and Michael Haulsey; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be held for Mary at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, with Rev. Ottis Hurt officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service from 9 - 10 a.m. Burial will immediately follow the service at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown.
