Mary Julia Hackl

Mrs. Mary Julia Hackl, 77, of Winston-Salem died on Friday, September 2nd in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on December 4, 1938 in New York, New York to Robert and Mary Sos. She was one of six children and is survived by her brothers Bobby and Alex and her sisters Liz and Esther. Mary married Frank Hackl on May 21, 1972 in New York. Mary is survived by Frank and their two children, Frank Jr. and Janice. Frank and Janice are residents of Kernersville and Winston-Salem respectively and each have two children. Frank and his wife Christina have two sons, Noah and Benjamin and Janice and her husband Andrew have a son and a daughter, Nolan and Callie Grace. Mary was a member of Reynolda Church, EPC and served on the prayer team where she prayed regularly for the pastor and members of the congregation. Funeral services will be held at Reynolda Church, EPC on Reynolda Road in Winston Salem on Friday September 9th. Visitation will take place at 1:30 followed by services at 2:30 in the church and later at the graveside at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the members of Reynolda Church, EPC for their love, care and support during Mary's last days.
