Mary Winfrey Holder

Lewisville Mary Rebecca Winfrey Holder, 81, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at her home. She was born April 5, 1933 in Forsyth County to the late Carl Lee and Katie Rebecca Huffman Winfrey. Mrs. Holder was a member of Warners Chapel Church of Christ. She was an outstanding country cook, loved spending time with her family, and enjoyed the beauty of flowers. Preceding her in death was a daughter, Rebecca Jane Holder and four brothers, Robah, Burton, Ken, Roy, and Don Winfrey. Surviving is her ""best help"" and devoted husband of 53 years, Fred Holder; two sisters, Ruth W. Robertson and Carol W. Burnette; sisters-in-law, Becky, Doris, and Virginia Winfrey; also surviving are several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Minister Frank Shepard and Mr. Roger Warner officiating. Burial will follow at Warners Chapel Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
