Mary Lynn Hooker

Mrs. Mary Lynn Pfaff Hooker, 45, passed away on Friday September 27, 2024, at Kate B. Reynolds hospice home. She was born on June 9, 1979, in Stokes County to the late Carlos (Buck) and Tonya Pfaff. Mary was a graduate of South Stokes High School Class of 1997. She worked in the accounting department at Walmart for 17 years. She then worked in administration at Gardens of Memory in both Walkertown and Eastlawn for 7 years. Mary was an extraordinary wife and mother and loved her daughter and family very much. Sarah was the light of her life. Mary was always kind and humble to everyone she met. She is survived by her loving husband of 17 and a half years, Scotty Hooker, and one daughter, Sarah Lynn Hooker. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday October 5, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Rev. Justin Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
