Mary Cheek

Mrs. Mary Joyce Cheek passed away Saturday morning, January 8, 2022, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mary was born on July 20, 1940, in Stokes County to the late Albert Joyce and Willie Mitchell Joyce. She enjoyed country music, gospel music, and loved pink. Mary loved her family and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband Granville Cheek; brother Willard Joyce; and sister Wilma Rice. Mary is survived by daughters Cynthia Sams and husband David and Pamela Forehand; son Timothy Richardson; grandchildren Jessica Sams Darby and husband Chris, Keisha, Derick and Preston Richardson; and great grandson Braydon Darby.
