Mary Desanctis Lane

KERNERSVILLE - Mary Desanctis Lane, 93, died Friday, January 16, 2016 at Kernersville Medical Center. Mary was born July 29, 1922 in New York to the late Charles and Concetta Zazzara Desanctis. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mary enjoyed gardening, knitting and ceramics. She was also an avid Bridge player.

Surviving are her husband, Gerald M. Lane; her daughter, Pamela Scott (husband, Gregg) of Tampa, FL; her son, Steve Carpenter (wife, Maureen) of Kernersville; a step-daughter, Melissa Williams; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one sister, Gloria Palumbo of Rochester, NY.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.
