Mary Mann James

Mrs. Mary Mann James, 81, of Advance, NC, formerly of Meansville, GA passed away Monday, January 22, 2024 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born May 2, 1942 in Georgia to William Henry Mann and Mary Ward Mann. Mary was a member of the Vega Community Church in Meansville, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Tommy James and two sisters, Iris Wilson and Allene Huckabee. Surviving are her two sons, Michael E. “Rick” James (Debra) and William “David” James (Sadarah); four grandchildren, Stephanie Otranto (Anthony), Marie James, Joshua Jacob James and Avery Isabelle James; one great grandson, Joseph Otranto; two sisters, Sara Francis Buffington and Gladys Dianna Dawson and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Vega Community Church in Meansville, GA by Rev. Mitchell Phillips.
