Mary Carrigan Miller

Mrs. Mary Carrigan Miller, 92, of Advance, NC passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born May 22, 1933 in Iredell County, NC to Garland Odell Carrigan and Maggie Grant Carrigan. Mrs. Miller was a member of Yadkin Valley Baptist Church and retired from Hanes Hosiery. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry Alfred Miller, Jr., siblings Veldon Carrigan, Bud Carrigan, Margaret Moore, and son-in-law Mack Rothrock. Surviving are her four children, Sherry Foster (Spurgeon), Susan Rothrock, David Miller (Terri) and Rodney Miller (Nancy); eight grandchildren Bryan Foster (Laura), Wesley Foster (Heather), Alan Miller (Jessica), Sara Stanley (Jeremy), Nick Raby (Savannah), Jeremiah Raby (Jessica), Haley Plemmons (Austin), and Kelsy Parnell (Bryce), and eighteen great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Yadkin Valley Baptist Church, 1324 Yadkin Valley Road, Advance, NC 27006. Service and burial will follow at the church at 2:00 p.m. with Pastors Ronnie Craddock and Will Pryor officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel is serving the Miller family.
