Mary Louise More

Mary Louise More, 76, of Winston-Salem, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at The Oaks at Forsyth. She was born June 8, 1933 in Washington, DC to Rafael and Hester Phillips More who preceded her in death. Ms. More loved to dance; was an artist; loved children and animals; and had a great sense of humor her whole life. Surviving are eight children, Jean Fowler (Don), Carol Harrell (Steve), Donna Yontz (Danny), Diane Jackson (George), Kathryn Groves, Bucky Smith (Erin), Mary Margaret Tucker (Bill), and Gene Smith Jr. (Linda); six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Maggie Voight and Kathryn Davis; and one brother, Danny More and wife Hazel. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 1 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
