Mary Motsinger

Mrs. Mary Lynn Stanley Motsinger, 88, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 surrounded by her family at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on January 21, 1929 in Kent, Ohio.
She retired from Hanes Corporation after 37 ½ years of service. Lynn loved fishing and camping at High Rock Lake, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was adored and loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her Mother Jesse Lee Cooley Stanley and Father Thomas Luther Stanley, daughter; Wanda Gail Motsinger, grandson; Joshua Gray Motsinger, five sisters and four brothers.
She is survived by husband of 68 years Hubert Alvin "Mutt" Motsinger, son; William Gray "Chuck" Motsinger, special granddaughter; Christina "Gidget" Motsinger Smith, three grandchildren; Michael Hicks, Jennifer Motsinger and Jamie Strait, 5 great grandchildren, 1 brother and 5 sisters. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Chris Williams officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior.
