Mary Perrell

Mrs. Mary Hayes Mendenhall Perrell, 86, passed away Friday, November 16, 2018.  She was born March 12, 1932 in Stokes County, NC to the late Charlie Vance Mendenhall and Maude Hayes Mendenhall.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Stanleyville.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Perrell was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Francis Perrell and all five of her siblings.  She is survived by four children: Victor Allen Mendenhall, Sr. (Dyann), Deborah Marie Moore, Darlene Francis Perrell, and Paul Tracy Perrell; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.  A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, at Crestview Memorial Park with the Rev. Eddie Honeycutt officiating.  Following the graveside service, the family will receive friends at First Baptist Church of Stanleyville.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Mountain Valley Hospice, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
