Mary Davis Pope

Mrs. Mary Davis Pope, 87, of Winston-Salem, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012. She was born March 12, 1925 in Forsyth County to Fred and Alta Bodenheimer Davis. Mrs. Pope was a lifelong member of Hopewell Moravian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.S. Pope. Surviving are her daughter, Sharon Pope Zito (Paul); her grandchildren, Kelly Adams, Dana Markmann (James), and Jason Adams (Jaimi); her great grandchildren, Lauren King (Mike), Chelsea, Katherine, Caroline, William, Mia and Chloe; and a great-great grandson, Levi; sisters, Peg Hancock, Shelva Jean Cook (Larry); and a brother, Jake Davis (Polly). A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 4 at Hopewell Moravian Church Graveyard with the Rev. Walter C. Bishop officiating.
