Mary Frances Gordy Shouse

SHOUSE Rural Hall - Mrs. Mary Frances Gordy Shouse, 67, passed away Monday, March 30, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born February 8, 1942 in Forsyth County the daughter of Leeana Cates Gordy Robertson and the late John Clarence Gordy. Frances enjoyed traveling, cooking, and gardening flowers; but most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father. Surviving are her devoted husband of 50 years, William H. Shouse; two daughters, Tina Shouse and Tammy Mihu (Ronald); one son, William ""Ernie"" Shouse (Kim); six grandchildren, Nicholas, Jonathon, Bryan, Jonah, Gabriel and Oliver; five brothers, Buddy, Harry, Dwight, Darsey and Anthony; three sisters, Becky, Dorothy and Wanda; also, several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with the Rev. Anthony Gordy officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
