Mary Wiles Williams

CLEMMONS, NC-Mrs. Mary ""Lou"" Wiles Williams, 80, of Clemmons, NC, formerly of Winston-Salem, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Trinity Elms Health and Rehabilitation in Clemmons, NC. Mrs. Williams was born on February 7, 1934 in Stokes County, NC to the late Arthur Howard Wiles and Lillie Ring Wiles. She was a member of Pinedale Christian Church in Winston-Salem. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Drewery Williams, Jr.; her son, Larry Keith Williams and a brother, Robie Wiles. Mrs. Williams is survived by her son, Steve Williams of Winston-Salem; three grandchildren, Drew Williams of Wilmington, NC, Mary Williams Parsonage and husband, Ben of Winston-Salem, NC and Stephanie Gail Williams of Goodyear, Arizona; and two daughters-in-law, Sandi Williams of Leland, NC and Regina Edwards of Mt. Airy, NC. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, December 1, 2014 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Bob McCaskill and Mr. Larry Burgess officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or Lutheran Services Carolinas, 7449 Fair Oaks Dr., Clemmons, NC 27012.
