Mary Edith Russell Wolf

Mrs. Mary Edith Russell Wolf, 93, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born February 21, 1916 in Yadkin County to the late Oscar Leo Russell and Lula Phillips Russell. Mrs. Wolf was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Winston-Salem and has been a housekeeper for Mildred Mitchell for over 35 years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, C.R. Wolf and a sister, Marjorie Crews. Mrs. Wolf is survived by her son, Robert Wolf of Winston-Salem, a brother, William Russell and wife Thelma of Winston-Salem, a niece, Nancy Booth and three nephews, Alvin Russell, Calvin Russell and William Russell Jr.. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2009 at New Hope Baptist Church in Winston-Salem with Dr. Charles Carver officiating. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7-9 this evening April 9, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
