Maryellen Casper Perkins

Mrs. Maryellen Casper Perkins of Winston-Salem passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Trinity Elms in Clemmons. She was born June 13, 1924 in Maryland to Chauncey James and Minnie Rodgers Casper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. David Hebert Perkins and is survived by a daughter, Gaynelle Bowman and husband Joe of Middletown PA; a son, Dr. David D. Perkins and wife Lori of Advance; three grandchildren, David E. Perkins and wife Katie, Stephen A. Perkins and Eric Herrell and wife Sarah; two brothers, James Rodgers Casper and William Henry Casper and two great grandchildren, Ashton Herrell and Kinsley Perkins. A memorial service will be held 5:00 P.M. Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel by Rev. Gary Byrum with a visitation following the service.
