Matthew Frederick, Jr., 53, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Matthew was born on November 19, 1972, in the U.S. Virgin Islands to Matthew Frederick, Sr. and Alice Merril Frederick. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy, retiring after a distinguished military career.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, with Chaplain Ben Fleming officiating. A reception will follow the service in the Robert F. Miller Center, located immediately next door to the chapel.
Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the Frederick family.
