Maude Marie Pardue Mock

Mrs. Maude Marie Pardue Mock, 86, of Winston-Salem passed away peacefully at Willow Valley Health and Rehabilitation on Sunday, January 28, 2024.

She grew up the youngest of 13 children on the family tobacco farm. Maude went on to become a nurse for over 20 years of her career. After retirement she took up substitute teaching, which she loved. In her later years she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles in her free time.

In addition to her parents Maude was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, William Thomas Mock, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Ginger Mock; and many other extended family members. She is survived by her beloved son, Michael Mock; brother-in-law, George Mock (Gay); nieces, Laurie, and Melody; and nephews, Andy, and Joe.
