Maureen Wiles Ross

Mrs. Maureen Wiles Ross, 86, passed away on May 15, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center.  Maureen was born on November 13, 1937, to the late Mattie Harris Wiles and Erastus Leard Wiles in Wilkes County, NC.

She was a devoted mother who worked hard to provide for her family. She will be remembered for her giving ways, always cooking for others, and her love for yard sales.

Maureen was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Ross; daughter, Michelle Ross Rachels; sister, Mildred Malcum; and two brothers, James (Odie) Wiles and Chellie Wiles. Those surviving include her five children, Linda Boyer (Norman Boyer), Richard Ross (Diana Ross), George Ross (Brenda Ross), Rodney Ross, and John Ross (Carolyn Ross); eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Brenda Webster and Annie Wiles; three brothers, Archie Wiles, Joe Wiles and Avery (Butch) Wiles; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. 

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel of Memories with Pastor Lomax Skinner and Rev. Tim Gross officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an organization of your choice.
