Mauricio "Charlie" Ramos

Our strong and perfect Mauricio “Charlie” Ramos peacefully went to be in the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, May 7, 2025.

Charlie was born on February 14, 2025, in Guilford County, NC, to Brandy Stone and Mauricio Lopez Ramos. Just like Valentine’s Day, our Charlie was full of love and his contagious smile filled our hearts with immense joy.

Although he was small, he was mighty and very strong. Charlie was loved by all and was a favorite of each of his NICU Nurses at Brenner Children’s Hospital. Even in his time of struggle, he never showed anything less than happiness. He was content and the most perfect baby.

Charlie was preceded in passing by his great grandparents, Rosemary Isley and Charlie Gwyn.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving parents, Brandy Stone and Mauricio Lopez Ramos; adoring siblings, Abbie Ramos, Ana Ramos, and Ava Ramos; maternal grandparents, Scott Stone and Wendy Stone; maternal aunt and uncle, Kristian Christ (Jon); maternal uncles, Cody Stone (Hannah) and Josh Stone-Trent; great grandparents, Peggy Zinchuk (Scott); two cousins, Olivia and Emmitt; and a special friend, Susie Dillon.

There will be a celebration of life held on May 17, 2025, at Oak Ridge Methodist Church beginning at 11:00am with Rev. Jon Christ officiating.

The family would like to thank all the NICU Nurses and Staff at Brenner Children’s Hospital but a special thanks to Kayla and Rayna.
