Max Daniel "Danny" Roberts

Mr. Max Daniel “Danny” Roberts, 64, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026, at his home. He was born on September 27, 1961, in Buncombe County, NC, to the late George Dewey Roberts and Mary Helen Hollifield Roberts. Danny was an avid fisherman. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on puzzles and painting ceramic figurines. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Greg Roberts. Danny is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Karen Hagan Roberts; three children, Brian Gosnell (Sheena), Bobby Gosnell, and Casey Willett (Roger Harden); five grandchildren, Blake Gosnell, Kaden Gosnell, Eli Gosnell, Sabastin Harden, and MaCaleb Harden (Hayden); and his sister, Sarinna Roberts. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
