Maxine Stafford Crutchfield

Matthews NC - Mrs. Maxine Stafford Crutchfield, 91, passed away December 14, 2013 at her residence. She was born December 13, 1922 in Guilford Co. to the late Flavey Cornelius and Effie Florence Smith Stafford. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years and nine siblings. Surviving are; son, J.T. Crutchfield of Greensboro, Daughter, Dianne Yates of Matthews NC, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a sister, Grayce Tilley of Kernersville. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00PM Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM - 1:45 PM Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Pleasant Ridge Christian Church 2049 Pleasant Ridge Rd.
