Maxine Crim Perdue

Mrs. Maxine Crim Perdue, 72, of Pfafftown, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015.

Maxine was born January 8, 1943 to the late Royce A. Crim and Nettie Billings Crim. She was a drama teacher in her younger years, where she taught her most famous student, Ed Simpson, who went on to be an award-winning writer and director. She served as Financial Director at Carolina Behavioral Health Alliance for 16 years and in her free time loved to spend time in her garden and enjoyed cooking. She will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend.

Maxine is survived by her husband, Julius Perdue; sisters, Peri Linn Crim and Kaye Joyce Crim; nephew, James Addison Sanders; and great-nephew, Steven James Sanders.

A celebration of Maxine's life will be held Monday, December 7, 2015 at 1 pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Forsyth Memorial Park.
