Maynard Leroy Teague

Mr. Maynard Leroy Teague, 95, passed away Friday, July 21, 2023. He was born August 3, 1927, in Catawba County to the late Willard Arthur Teague and Carrie Lail Teague. Maynard retired from Budd Services after many years of service as an office supervisor. He was a longtime member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. Maynard loved being with family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Martha Slack Teague; son, Phillip Teague; and brother, William F. Teague. Maynard is survived by his son, Dean Teague (Denise); four grandchildren: Ashley, Casey, Zaine (Larissa), and Sean; four great-grandchildren: Coy, Chloe, Aiden, and Emerson; daughter-in-law, Renee Teague; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, July 27th at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Francis Smith officiating.
