Melba Arey Reagan

"Melba Lynn Arey Reagan, 80, of High Point, passed away on March 15, 2025, at Cedar Hills Center in Clemmons, North Carolina. Melba was born in High Point, North Carolina, on February 26, 1945, to James Arey and Ora Howard Arey. She married Steven Reagan Sr. on December 1, 1962. Together, they raised two sons, Steven Reagan Jr. and Zachary Reagan. She attended UNCG, where she earned her associate’s degree. Melba always loved animals of all kinds and was especially known for her deep affection for her pet Pekingese dogs over the years.

Melba is survived by her husband, Steven Wesley Reagan Sr.; her son, Steven Wesley Reagan Jr., and daughter-in-law, Janice Dunlop Reagan; her son, Zachary Andrew Reagan, and daughter-in-law, Virginia Hollingsworth Reagan; and her grandchildren, Melanie, Ella, Cody, and Caroline Reagan. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Susan Davis Arey; cousin, Karlyn Morgan Nance, and her husband, Glenn David Nance; as well as extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Kennard Arey.
