Melvin F. Wright, Jr.

Melvin F. Wright, Jr. passed away on June 19, 2025, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born on October 19, 1945, to Melvin Forbes Wright, Sr. and Edith Everett Wright in Elizabeth City, NC. Mel is survived by his loving wife, Jo Wright; sister, Ann Bundy; nieces and nephew, Melanie Michael (Greg), Clay Harris (Lisa), and Allison Hope (Jeff); great nieces and nephew, Kesleigh Crews (Avery), Samantha Harris, and Scott Hope; and his four-legged companion, Willard. A celebration of Mel’s life will be held in the Fall; details and memorials are to be announced.
