Michael Ronald Bastian

Michael Ronald Bastian, 56, of Winston-Salem, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2026, at his home.

Mr. Bastian was born June 21, 1969, in Cook County, Illinois, to Ronald John Bastian and Lauren Marie Prokop Bastian. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and Army for a collective 4 years. Michael loved music and attended concerts whenever he had a chance. He also enjoyed fishing in his spare time. Michael was preceded in death by his father.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Lauren Bastian; wife, Crystal Lynn Bastian; one son, Zachary Bastian; one brother, Dan Bastian (Teri); and friends, Andrew Almond (Shannon), and James Underwood. Also surviving is his Blue Heeler/Boxer, Hank.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 10, 2026, at Salisbury National Cemetery with Pastor Lomax Skinner officiating.
