Michael David Christy

Winston Salem - Michael David Christy, 64, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017. Michael was born on July 2, 1952 in Warner Robbins, Georgia to James Edgar Christy, Jr. and Betty Jane Hays Christy.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, James Christy, Jr.

Surviving are his mother, Betty H. Christy of the home; a sister, Susan D. Fountain (husband, Mark); two nephews, James Fountain of California and Daniel Fountain of Texas; a niece, Amanda Fountain of California, one great nephew, Jaden Fountain from TN; aunts and uncles, Nancy Burdick of PA, Pansy Christy and Jean Christy, both of Greensboro, John and Sarah Daniel of Summerfield, Cal & Kathy Stack of Greensboro, Robert and Myrna Hays of MS; and many cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 PM, Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Frank Shumate officiating.
