Michael Gray Easter

Mr. Michael Gray Easter, 65, of State Road, NC, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.

Michael was born on December 30, 1958, to the late Bobby Gray Easter and Norma Jean Honeycutt Easter in Forsyth County, NC.

After beginning his law enforcement career with the King Police Department, he dedicated 20 years of honorable service with the Elkin Police Department before founding his own business, Yadkin Valley Investigations.

Michael enjoyed staying up to date on politics, often tuning in to Fox News in his free time. He enjoyed meals at The Wood Box, especially BBQ and hotdogs, but most of all, he loved his friends and family. His son, Stetson, was his whole world. Michael was a wonderful and loving father.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his loving wife, Eva; and his sister, Debbie Easter.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Stetson Easter (Rebecca); step-sons, Scott Collins (Marie) and Dan Collins; sister, Sumer Ridge; uncles, Rudy Easter and Ray Honeycutt; as well as a niece and many cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 2:00PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends the hour prior, from 1:00PM – 2:00PM, at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow the service at Crestwood Memorial Gardens in State Road, NC.
