Michael Junior Hill

Kernersville- Mr. Michael “Mike” Junior Hill, 72, was promoted to Heaven on Saturday, May 25, 2025. He was born June 14, 1952, in Forsyth County, the son of Charlie and Avalee Peeples Hill. A devout Christian, who was patriotic, never met a stranger, and earned the nickname “Radar” for his ability to never miss a pop fly in the outfield. “Mike was a jack of all trades enjoying a career in maintenance and being an electrician. He had placed his faith in Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. He is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Rebecca Oliver Hill where they are now reunited together again in Heaven.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Shane Hill (Suzanne); two grandsons, Hunter Chase Hill and Matthew Dylan Bailey and multiple nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Mike’s Life will be held at 2 PM Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Berean Baptist Church with Dr. Ron Baity officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 PM before the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Berean Baptist Church, 4135 Thomasville Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27107.
