Michael Kiger, Sr.

Mr. Michael "Mike" Edward Kiger, Sr., 63, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on April 18, 1955 to Jeannine Fulcher Kiger and Charlie Kiger in Forsyth County. Mike, lovingly known as "Kiger" to his friends, will be remembered for his humbleness and kind heart. More than anything, he loved his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by a baby brother, Timmy. Surviving are his son, Mikey, Jr. (Stephanie); grandchildren, Damon, Dylan, and Airiana; sister, Sandy Leamon (Herman); brothers, Charlie Kiger (Steven), David Kiger, and Mark Kiger (Heather); very special friends, "KK", Michael, Jacob, and Craig; former wife, Louann; extended family and a host of friends. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek with Rev. Ernie Plemmons officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
