Michael Rollins

Mr. Michael Anthony Rollins, 28, passed away unexpectedly on July 24, 2018, in Greensboro, NC. Michael was born in Heidelberg, Germany, on June 16, 1990, to Glenn Andrew and Bessie Ann Turner Rollins. He graduated from high school in Lee County in 2008 and continued his education at Central Carolina Community College where he earned his associates degree in Information Technology. Michael was an aspiring artist, hard-working, and kind. He adored his children and enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and helping others. He was truly loved and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Andrew Rollins. Surviving are his mother, Bessie Rollins; daughter, Assata Reign Rollins; infant son, Asani Kweli Rollins; and the love of his life, Tyesia Dorsett. Also surviving are two brothers, Benjamin Horner and GlennTaylor; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A private family service will be held at later date.
