Michael Ray Shore

Mr. Michael Ray Shore, 70, of Kernersville, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Forsyth Medical Center.

Michael was born on June 5, 1955, in Forsyth County to the late Bobby Ray Shore and Bobbie Portis Shore. He retired after many dedicated years of service with Lowe's Hardware.

An avid outdoorsman, Michael found great joy in hiking, skiing, and boating. He was a man of deep faith, an animal lover, and a passionate music fan. Gifted with remarkable creativity, he enjoyed drawing, crafting, and photography. Michael truly loved life and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several beloved fur-babies.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Angela “Angel” Shore (Jordan Sutter); granddaughter, Norah Sutter; sisters, Sandra Shore, Ann Clifton (Robert), and Laura Shelton (Garland); along with several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, 3315 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC with Rev. Brad Bruce and Rev. Danny Berrier officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  A committal service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Parklawn Memorial Park.
