Michael Gray Whitfield

Kernersville - Michael Gray Whitfield, 61, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. Michael was born on December 30, 1955 to William and Earline Virginia Whitlock Whitfield. Michael attended Kingsway Chapel. He worked for L.C. Transportation and later at Crewe Transfer in Rural Hall.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Whitfield.

Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Kay Ferrell Whitfield; a daughter, Lindsey Meagan Whitfield; and a son, Todd Whitfield.

Private services will be held at a later date. Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
