Michelle Greye Lawson Owens

Mrs. Michelle Greye Lawson Owens, 52, passed away Monday, August 22, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born August 8, 1964 in Forsyth County the daughter of Harold Gray Lawson and the late Martha Ruth Boose Lawson. Michelle loved the Lord and attended Bethany Baptist Church. She was the nicest, most outgoing person who made friends with everyone she met. Michelle loved dancing, going to the beach, gardening, and playing foosball. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who adored her family. In addition to her father, Michelle is survived by devoted husband of 27 years, Leonard A. Owens; daughter, Allie G. Owens (Josh Levins); grandson, Ryen G. Owens; four siblings: Karen Ruth Hill (Richard), Karen Jean Lawson (Frank), Shayne Lawson (Beth), and Steve Lawson (Paula); mother-in-law, Nina Mae Owens; sister-in-law, Susan Chatman (John); special friends, Larry & Mary Hull and Kathy Lawson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 24, at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
