Michelle Renee Lange Schwartz

Michelle Renee Lange Schwartz was born September 17, 1974, in Miami, Florida.

She went on to marry Derek Schwartz June 1, 1994. They moved many times: Virginia, Washington, back to Virginia and then made North Carolina home since 2004.

She had three kids; Meghan, Payton and Preston, plus son-in-law Aaron.

She made the everyday life of her husband and kids a little easier by becoming a homemaker, but her true passion in life was working with children—having had ran an in-home daycare in Washington and then a second time living in Virginia. She then nannied for 5+ years with families in North Carolina. As well as volunteering at her children’s schools when they were young. In the last few years of her life she proudly became the caretaker of her grandson.

She is survived by Derek, Meghan, Payton and Preston Schwartz, grandson Gabriel Garza, and brothers Douglas and Christopher Lange. She was preceded in death by her mother Donna Harris.

She enjoyed traveling, with her heart set on going to Ireland someday. One of her many passions was reading, she made many friends with her online book community, it was rare to see her without a book or her kindle. She loved dancing, laughing, and spending time with her closest friends
